Hi Everyone!
Two things:
1) I am trying to put together a little committee
for our dessert fundraiser on October 20th.
This happens prior to the music concert
I am looking for 1-2 parents to head up the dessert portion of the
fundraiser. They would collect the
donations, make sure we have enough based on how many tickets we sell, set them
up so they look nice, and help serve them.
I am looking for as many parents as can to donate desserts. The desserts don't have to be island themed,
but as many island desserts as possible will make it really fun and promote the
theme of our concert. Desserts from ANY
island will do- we are singing music from the Channel Islands, Jamaica,
Polynesian islands, Philippines, etc. I
have one parent already who has volunteered to help with some table d cor. I
would love another parent or two who could help with this! Also, any parents
willing to serve, set up, or clean up would be greatly appreciated!!
2) I have updated the choir website www.highlandhighschoolchoir.blogspot.com
with some new concert report opportunities! They are all free.

helping! Those of you who have already volunteered, I have your names written
down. Once I have a parent or two in
charge of the desserts, I will pass along your info to them. Thanks so much.
The kids are sounding absolutely fantastic- I can't wait for this concert! It's one you won't want to miss!
