Hi Choir Peeps!
I wanted to let you know that choir uniforms can be paid
online starting Thursday morning (with the exception of Madrigals- their
uniforms are already posted online). You
can also pay West in the treasurer's office.
Here is the cost breakdown:
Mixed Ensemble Men: $25.00 for black vest and gold
bowtie. Men need to provide their own
white button down collared shirt, black pants, and black shoes.
Mixed Ensemble Women: $53.00 for a new dress. I only have one girl purchasing a new dress;
all the other girls are purchasing used dresses from girls previously in Ladies
Ensemble and need to pay them directly (about $20 would be an appropriate
price).
Concert Choir Girls: $70 for a new dress. Many Concert Choir girls purchased used
uniforms and should pay the owners directly for those (about $25.00 would be an
appropriate price).
Concert Choir Men: $125 for a tux. The boys were fitted today. I have a couple
men buying used tuxes. Those individuals
need to come speak with me about who to pay.
Madrigals Men: $15.00 for shirt and bowtie. Mads men will
use their Concert Choir tuxes.
Madrigals Women with jewelry: I honestly can't remember,
but it's online!
Madrigals Women without jewelry: Same as above, but
cheaper :-).
Uniforms need to be paid for and picked up before our
concert on October 20 (with the exception of madrigals who need theirs hemmed
and ready to go by October 1st).
Students interested in doing a payment plan need to come see me. If they sign a contract with the principal's
secretary, they can pay for their uniform throughout the year and still pick it
up before full payment has been made. It
just needs to be paid off by the last day of school. I try to use the same uniforms year after
year so students can sell theirs back at the end of the year!
I have about 7 people bringing desserts! I would love to
get about 20 if anyone else is interested.
I think we will be okay on decorations for the tables with the
volunteers I've gotten, but I'm still looking for a parent or two to head up
the dessert collection and set-up. Email
me if you're interested! We're going for island themed desserts if possible. If
not, we'll take anything! Store bought is awesome and actually preferred;
though we've been permitted to sell homemade in the past. I will double check
