Total, we raised $1,250 for the choir program! I couldn't be more thrilled. And that's AFTER we took out the minimal costs for decorations and extra desserts.
The winning class in terms of ticket sales was Madrigals. They raised an average of $16.00 per person and will have a class party as a reward. Our winning ticket seller was Shay Hudson from Concert Choir. She will receive a fun gift basket.
A huge thank you to all the parents who brought the many delicious dessert donations- I was overwhelmed by how amazing everything was thanks to the parents we have at Highland High School. We hardly had to spend any money thanks to your generosity! They were also so dang CUTE! It was fun that many of them incorporated an island theme. All of them, however, were beautiful. My roommate said she had the best piece of cake she had ever eaten in her entire life last night at the dessert fundraiser!
I am also SO grateful to the band and dance crew who came and performed while desserts were served. They did that out of the kindness of their hearts and we can all see how much time and energy goes in to a show like the one they provided for us.
