Because we have a performance one week after Thanksgiving where ALL our music must be memorized, each choir has a short homework assignment over the break. Students need to log in 30 minutes of practice time before school starts again on Monday. This is worth 15 points! They will do that through Charms (instructions on how to do that are on the right side of the blog- it's the same as entering makeup practice for absences). Here are the assignments for each class:
Mixed Ensemble:

- Memorize, "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year." Make sure you know all the notes for YOUR PART!
- Memorize, "Sing We Now of Christmas." This is the song that needs the most work on memorizing your notes. If you can't play your notes, get together with someone over break who can!
- Memorize "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," both notes AND words!
- Please work on the last 4 pages of "Ya Ba Bom." If you cannot play your own notes, get together with someone who can.
- Listen to movement two of the Sunrise Mass up through letter 'I' 3-4 times. Here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-NXEVaciIKM (start at 8 minutes and go until 12 minutes and 27 seconds.)
- Work on your pieces with your groups. Group numbers need to be ready by Monday!
- Memory check every piece. Get together with friends if it's easier!
