Auditions for Schubert Mass

Auditions for the soloists for the Schubert Mass (performed December 14th at the orchestra concert and December 20th at the choir concert) will be on Wednesday, November 29th at 2:30 p.m. in the choir room.  This is an incredible performance opportunity and resume builder!

Students should come well prepared for these auditions, having studied music and recordings.  Here are the links to the solos with the music for you to study online. My plan is to choose just one soprano soloist for all the soprano parts, but I might be willing to change my mind based on what I hear. The baritone soloist will be the same for both solos.

  • Kyrie (Soprano soloist begins at 1:00)

  • Gloria (Soprano and Baritone solos begin at 1:20; soprano is top line and baritone is bottom line)
