In-Class Performances:
  • I've tried very hard to make sure there are plenty of options so EVERYONE can complete the in-class performance.  Remember, no one has to sing solo! Also remember that you can perform one of the songs we've done this year already in a small group.
  • For complete details of the in-class performance requirements, please click here.
Looking ahead to March:
  • Tuesday, March 5: Region Chamber Choir Festival and Solo/Ensemble @ Murray High.  The chamber portion will be 1:00 p.m.-3:30 p.m. and the solo/ensemble portion will be 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Stay tuned for more information on busses.
  • Tuesday, March 12: Region Training Choir Festival @ Highland High from 3:00-5:00 p.m.  This is for all members of SA Ram Choir and TB Ram Choir, plus the Choir Council students volunteering to help.  West High School and Murray High School will be joining us.
  • Monday, March 18: Term 3 Choir Concert @ HHS, 7:00 p.m. (call time is 6:15 p.m.).
  • Friday, March 22: Last day of the term; term 3 performance observations due.
Registration for Choir for 2019-2020:
  • This year, we won't hold choir auditions until May.  That means during registration in February, you should sign up for the choir you are currently in on your registration card.  All auditioned classes require my signature UNLESS you were already in it this year.  In May, I will do auditions for En Chantant, Concert Choir, and Madrigals.  You do not have to try out if you want to stay in the same class.  I will send a list to the counselors of who made it in to each class and we will get your schedules adjusted so you are in the correct choir!
  • Please spread the word to incoming freshman at all our feeder schools that they should sign up for the non-auditioned Chorus I SA or Chorus I TB on their registration card! I will go to the middle schools for auditions in May for En Chantant but in the meantime, they should sign up for the non-auditioned classes.
